I have come to the conclusion that effort and consistency are attractive to me. In a world that advocates for ‘saving face’, giving up or not having to try too hard for someone we like, love or care deeply about, the desire and determination to persevere and preserve while not stopping at ‘enough’ is scarce and sacred. That gives me a mental high. Till then.
