One thing about me…. I don't let other people's opinions decide how I see someone. If I hear something negative about you, I will not automatically treat you differently. I would rather observe your actions and form my own opinion than believe every story someone tells me. People can misunderstand situations. They can exaggerate, leave out important details, or tell a story from a perspective that makes them look innocent. Some people will hurt others, play the victim afterward, twist the story, and try to convince everyone to take their side. But I am not interested in choosing sides based on gossip. I am grown. I can observe behavior for myself. I can recognize patterns. I can decide who someone is based on how they treat me and the people around them. You do not have to convince me to dislike someone, and you do not have to convince me to like someone either. Let people show me who they are.
