I’ve learned that life is already pretty beautiful on my own. Doing what I love, chasing the things that excite me, and constantly investing in becoming a better version of myself. But I think it would be nice to meet someone who speaks my lingo. Someone who understands the same cultural references, switches between English and Chinese without thinking, hears an old English song and immediately starts humming along with me. Someone I don’t have to explain too much to. We just get it. Until then, I’ll keep doing the things I love, going where life takes me, and building a life I’m proud of.
