I'm not usually a breakfast person but today I ordered Vietnamese food online because my friend recommended Banh Mi. I added the Spring Rolls and Iced Drip Coffee (since I'm paying for delivery, make it worth😋🤭)
And walaaaaa, it was great! The spring rolls was delicious with the sauce given, coffee was kao 👍🏼🤤
I was wandering whether the Banh Mi was related to the French colonial era, so I just have a quick read in wiki, and so yes, they modified the bread which made it fluffier (not going to cerita everything 😅) I'm not a bread person, but to my surprise I enjoyed this. I'm not sure whether this is close to how Vietnam made it, but it looks like it's up to the standard.
