In deep gardens, fish move in stillness, water flows gently, unaware of time. Within white walls and dark-tiled roofs, I feel as though I’ve stepped into another age. The pagoda’s shadow rises into distant sky, flowers cast their presence across the world. Suzhou is like a dream, softly settling into my heart.
